Hi everyone,
we have a problem with CPU reservation on one of our ESXi 5.5 host. Here is the host specs :
VM5 hosts an heavy application that requires a CPU reservation of 15960Mhz, otherwise it’s restrained !
We tried a lot of different settings and played with other VMs reservations, but we are still stuck at 15954… I know, we need only 6Mhz more, it’s very frustrating 😞 But the application is build like that… its alarm is set at 15960 and we can’t change it !
Here is an export from RVTools, where you can see the resources reservations of this host :
Any idea on this matter would be very appreciated !
Thanks 🙂
If you need more than the 15,954 MHz reservation, then you need to add more vCPUs to the VM (2,659 MHz * 6 vCPUs = 15,954 MHz).

Hello André,
Thanks for your quick answer ! The solution was so obvious that we didn't see it 😞
Thanks again for your precious help 🙂
