    Hi

Gigabyte MA77OT-UD3P & AMD PHENOM II X6 1055T Test Box

I know neither of these to bits of kit are offically supported, but I have a test box running both of them.

Im having a strange problem though.

The CPU is a 6 Core processor at over 3GHz per core, but in ESXi 4.1 it is only showing on processor at 0.8 Ghz.

Has anyone seen this before or has any ideas why it would do this?

    Thanks

    Hi

Yep checked the list and neither of the componments are supported, but as this is a test system I wanted to see if anyone else had tried these components.

    OR

If anyone has seen this problem of a multi cored CPU displaying as a single core on ESXi?

    Thanks

It really can happen, since it is not in the list of supported, I advise you to take a look at this site may help you to find the correct version so you can make your tests http://ultimatewhitebox.com/

    Thanks

    Really?

If its not on the list it can present these sort of errors?

    That is weird.

    But necessary obviously.

If one does not appear as supported hardware, then any odd behavior, will be taking into consideration that the hardware is not compatible. So the problem will be almost inevitable.
