CPU 90%

I have 32 vCores and the vms associated with those vCores use very little cpu, however vmware esxi cpu usage has started to get +90% in the last few hours.

What steps should I take to find out the cause of this problem?

I turn off ALL the virtual machines. The CPU usage is still high (more than 80%).

Can you SSH to the host, run "esxtop" and share a screenshot / copy and paste the output to pastebin.com and link that here?

I solved the problem yesterday using esxtop.

Someone hacked my VMware and install a VM that was not visible on VMware ESXi ui for miner bitcoin (probably).

I deleted the VM, change the passwords and restrict the access for vmware ui by IP.

Thanks!
