I just have a question about the bug with VMs running Windows Server 2012 and H/W version 10 described in the below link.
VMware KB: Windows 8 and Windows 2012 Server virtual machines fail upon reboot
We have a lot of VMs running Windows Server 2012, but their H/W version is 8. Does this mean that this bug doesn't apply to our VMs? I am just double-checking.

Yes, This bug is in Vmware hardware version 10 and your all 2012 machine having vmware hardware version 8 so not applicable to your VMs.
