Broadcom BCM57788 LOM (on board) NIC support for ESXi Installation

Does anyone if there is a available driver for this?

Can you use Linux driver, e.g. Ubuntu?

Got to love responses such as the one right above.... tools.

No, the 57788 wont work by default;

Broadcom line has:

5784, 5785, 57780, 57781, 57785, 57788, 57790, 57791, 57795

Previous generation cards are

5781, 5786, 5787, 5788, 5789

5784 is the only chip from current generation that is officially supported. I will try to alias 57788 PCI ID to 5784 driver and hope that the silicon is the same.

Once I know I'll post the results...

Thanks for your help. Since then I have bought Intel Pro, that works. I will try to see if 5784 work.  Thanks again.
