I have a host which has local SAS SSD based Datastores. this host is getting Bootbank cannot be found at path '/bootbank' error. I can move all VMs that don't use the local storage to other hosts, no problem. but the 2 VMs that are using local storage I'm worried about. So, if I reboot there is chance the sd card recovers and all is good, BUT any changes I had made are gone? OR this: if I reboot and SD card is dead, then I need to reinstall.. what happens to my local Datastore?? I can re-add it with no loss of data? (then register the VMs to the host from datastore). I know the easy answer is just to move all VMs away, but I can't in this case!
