Blue Screen on VM after Migrating a Virtual Server VM to VMware

I successfully converted a Virtual Server VM to VMware ESXi. When I attempted to convert two other Virtual Server VMs, they blue screen once I turn them on. The VMs are Windows Server 2003. Any Ideas?

They are probably failing on old drivers. You can try a boot into safe mode and remove any drivers that were used in the old hardware. Another posible approach is using the option to install VMware tools as part of the conversion. You can also try booting with the windows install disk and use the Console repair option and disable drivers.

Did you try right-clicking on the VM and select "reconfigure"?

One thing is to make sure to change the LSI Disk Controller emulation from "SAS" to "Parallel" in the "Edit Settings" panel (when you Right click on the VM in VSphere).  I know that SCSI is a parallel bus, but that setting should be labeled "SCSI" for clarity in such important matters.
