Dear community,
How would I create the best user experience when I vitalize desktops within a 1GB LAN? So far I have been using Windows RDP but even on a 1GB LAN, this clearly has performance issues.
I looked into Horizon but this seems to be overkill for only a hand full of users.
To be clear, I still want every user to have his own OS install but it should run inside the ESXi host. The user experience must be as close as possible as if it were a "normal" setup so including sound, watching movies, etc. Eventually I would like to phase out all other conventional computers and replace them by something like a thin client. Does this exist without Horizon?
