Benefits installing driver CD?

Hello community,

I have a vSphere 5.1 server running. The server has one Broadcom NIC used for iSCSI.

On the vmware download page there are driver CDs for Braodcom NICs. These drivers are quite new (2012-09-18)

Are there any improvements when using these drivers? Is it necessary or advisable?

Thanks

Hi abhilashhb,

of course you're right Smiley Wink Always use the latest drivers.

But certainly you know about "never change a running system"

And as there's no changelog or something like that, I just wanted to know if it's worth the downtime :slightly_smiling_face:
