Beginner's Advice - Using ESXi

Hi,

I am deeply familiar with using VMWare Workstation.  I now want to start using ESXi. I have successfully installed a trial version of ESXi 7.x, I am currently upload a VM into the datastore.

My question is what do I need to manage the ESXi host server other than the web browser I amk using.  I am currently accessing the ESXi server through the web interface.

ESXi is managed through the Host Client via web browser.  You can connect to the host with Workstation, but that will only allow you to manage VMs and not configure the host.
