i migrated an older VM from hosted product today and had issues with networking.
the VI client was constantly telling me, that the host had no VM-Networks or I would have no permission to access to those.
But that`s simply (and absolutely) wrong.
Seems the issue is being caused by wrong entries in the VMX file.
I removed the network adapter completely and re-addid it and all was fine.
VI client could (and should) handle that a little bit more intelligent.
