BUG REPORT: ESXi 6.5 web ui generates Unhandled Exception

I wasn't able to open a support ticket so I guess I will open this over here. I am getting an Unhandled Exception from the ESXi web ui. It happens whenever I try to edit the details of a VM. The guest details don't load properly. I'm seeing a lot of blanks and grayed out dropdowns where there used to be hardware options. If I try to fix the settings and click save I see:

Unfortunately, we hit an error that we weren't expecting.

The client may continue working, but at this point, we recommend refreshing your browser and submitting a bug report.

Press the Esc key to hide this dialog and continue without refreshing.

The details button gives me this:

Cause: TypeError: _vimTypes[configuration.config.scsis[i].Type] is not a constructor

ESXi: 6.5.0

Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:57.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/57.0

How do I fix my VM so I can edit the details again?

Very late to the 6.5 party, for reasons.

Not finding this update via the posted link, probably "aged out".  A term I loath at this stage of life.

Where may I find it or a current solution?  Upgrade to ESXi 7 or 8 is not an option at the moment.
