Autoretry / delay NFS datastore mount

Hi. I have a couple of NFS datastores (NAS) in my test-lab.

Sometimes when I boot my ESXi host the NFS datastores are not available and the datastore-mount therefore fails. The issue is easy resolved be rebooting again or by manually remove/adding the datastores again.

I would however like to have my esxi-host autoretry the mount until it succeeds. Is there any way to achive this? Another solution would be if I could specify a delay before the NFS datastores and mounted during boot?

Any help is appreciated.

Kind regards
Kasper

what type of nas is it ? most vendors have best practice guide - especially for advanced nfs settings.

how many nfs datastores do you have ? over 8 ?

Thanks for the link. I will have a look into the advanced settings. I have 2 Synology nfs datastores.
