  • 1.  All VMs in the host machine is powered off

    Hi All,

    All the VMs in our host machine is powered off frequently. Hyper visor is vSpeare 4 . I went through the log file and found error for


    'Mar 10 15:27:13.817: vcpu-0| CPU reset: hard.


    Any idea why does all the VMS power off frequently.

    Well, you can get much data from one line in the vmware.log. Hence could you upload the vmkernel.log/messages logs which could help to find the root cause. Also, can you check if the hosts have gone for a reboot?

    Hi bineeshp,

    This is a long shot, but are these unlicensed Microsoft guests?  If so review this.
