Agent VMs and maintenance mode

I`ve just deployed fresh vShere 5.1 with Trend Micro Deep Security antivirus solution. My problem is that when i want to put host into mainenance mode, the process gets stuck because Trend Micro VM is pinned to specific host and it is unable to migrate. I have to manually shut down the VM.

Now, I`ve read that there is something called "Agent VM" and when VM is marked as agent VM, it goes down automaticly when host is going into maitenance mode.

So the question is - how can i tag VM as an Agent VM?

I don't believe the agent VM will be powered down prior to going into maintenance mode.  The agent VM will be the first to come up after an HA event.

you can learn a bit more about this in the below pdf

Its supposed to be Trend Micro that does this - you should inquire with them.

Well when Trend Micro needs to put host in maintenance mode it goes  well. But there is no option form Trend Micro GUI to do this, it only  gets done when Trend Micro need to update ESXi driver or scanning  appliance. In Trend Micro manual it states that this is working as  intended, and with manual maintenance mode the scanning appliance needs  to be powered off manually.

So I though that there me be some little nice trick to do it via  vSphere but from what William22 and Troy Clavell linked it looks like  I`m over my head.
