After upgrading ESXi to version 6.0 it will no longer see USB Dongle

Good Morning,

I upgraded an ESXi 5.5 Host to version 6.0.  After the upgrade it could no longer see/access the USB Dongle that was attached to the ESXi Host.  I went into the ESXi host and ran the lsusb command and it doesn't see the USB Dongle there.  Did something change with the upgrade to vSphere ESXi 6.0 that causes this?

Hi,

Try to stop usbarbitrator by using the below command and then check issue:

/etc/init.d/usbarbitrator stop

Start the service after checking otherwise USB devices which attached on VMs will not work.
