After updating custom certificates on the hosts, the certificates page shows nothing

We had a cert that was expiring soon so we requested a new custom certificate and added it tot he ESXi 7.0U3 host, disconnected it to resync with vCenter and everything was finally valid on the host and between vSphere 7.0U3 and the hosts being managed after hammering out some HA issues that followed.  I can't remember checking previously, but if you go to the host in vSphere, then go to Configure --> System --> Certificate, nothing is listed there at all.  Other environments we have show the correct up-to-date certificate info in this section.  We want to make sure that everything is normal and we don't run into any issues.  How do we make sure the correct certificate info is displayed here?  The host itself (its web UI) shows that info, but vSphere Client does not.  What are we missing?

Try to add a Certificate via WinSCP and putty in Certificate Manager.

During adding, you will see on which stage you are receiving the error

We use Linux systems and Terminal so we don't have Putty or WinSCP.
