After updating HP iLO firmware to 1.3x, the hardware status tab shows errors for all disconnected NICs

ESXi v6.5u2 and v6.0u3

HPE ProLiant DL360 Gen10

iLO v5

Installed server, updated all firmware, installed ESXi v6.5, installed all updates including HPE updates (via the HP vib depot connection) - everything is great!

Updated the iLO 5 firmware from v1.20 to either v1.30 or v1.35 and the server's event log, in vCenter, shows endless alerts/warnings for all NICs that are disconnected. Checking the Hardware Status tab, all disconnect NICs are in a warning state. The NICs are not connected to anything by design.

I hope that someone has a fix for this. I checked with HP and as you might imagine, they said the hardware is fine, call VMware.

Thanks all.

This is a known issue with the iLO firmware version 1.30. Downgrade to version 1.20.

Then I guess the v1.35 update did not fix the issue either. Thanks for the update.
