After successful shutdown, when it boots succesfuly again I cannot connect?

Hi,

So this happened one more time yesterday and I wipped and reinstalled again ESXi 6.0 Update 2 and now it happened again.

I just did shutdown from the web interface to disconnect drive and when I booted I cannot connect using web interface nor using vSphere windows client.

Any ideas?

So I re-installed ESXi for the 3rd time and started the setup of FreeNAS again. This time I wanted to narrow down even more. So I followed section "5. Create a Virtual Storage Network." and when I entered my private IP https://b3n.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/Image-12.png that is out of my DHCP server range and rebooted ESXi I could not connect?

Why is this?

your virtual switch doesn't have any uplink (VMNIC) attached with it.
