With affinity rules you can set a rule for example that a specific VM is just running on one host (you select). Or the other way around: One or some VMs are not allowed to run on host A & B for example.

This is often used in combination with license policies.

Affinity rules is used to control the placement of VM's on a host. There are 2 type of Affinity rules
