Accessing Esxi 5.5 from ubuntu

I got question about accessing ESXi from Ubuntu machine, I read somewhere online that I need to install VM machine on my Ubuntu and try it that way , I did install window 2008. I am able to reach the ESxi box but I get certificate errors in internet explore and when I accept there is no text on the page just like I am missing Java or something. anyone experience this.? By the way , I can access my esxi from different windows machine with no problem, I just prefer to access it from my Linux laptop .

Thank you

Xz

You're trying access the ESXi directly using vSphere Client or through vCenter ?

Thanks for the quick reply . I just connected to 192.168.1.1 esxi using IE  from my 2008 server virtual box installed on my linux laptop. I don't get the web page to display properly so I can download Vsphere client from it.

Thank you
