APD Info is needed in ESXi 5.1

Hi All,

I have four ESXi 5.1 Hosts (A / B / C / D) in a cluster and two EVA's 01 and 02 on one of my remote Sites. Because of some electricity maintenance issue I need to power down ESXi Host A and ESXi Host B.

EVA 01 will also be powered down.

My concern is EVA 01 Datastores are connected to all four hosts. So When the EVA 01 will be powered down there will be dead paths on the two powered on hosts C and D.

Will this cause any impact / disruption on the powered on VM's on Hosts C & D.

Any suggestions on how to proceed.

Thanks

Vaibhav

I have also face similar challenge in our production environment, if the Storage will be offline for some hours then there will be no problem but if it will be down for long day , in that case hostd service on ESXi host got hung and can stuck which cause ESXi host to disconnect from vCenter but sure NO VM IMPACT.
