AMD sr-iov Passthrough VF limitation

Hope someone may be able to give some advice here and that this is the right section to post this in.

We have a view environment and have a new AMD S7150X2 multi-user GPU. Having a look through the specs for the card and it says it supports up to 32 users.

  • The AMD FirePro™ S7150 x2 Server GPU supports up to 32 users per GPU, providing users with predictable desktop-like performance and features in a virtualized environment, while giving IT Managers outstanding performance for their dollar.

But looking through the documentation for Horizon view 7.2 which we are running on it says

number_of_VFs

Number of VFs (virtual functions), from 2 to 15. This number represents the number users who will share the GPU.

also the install guide from AMD states

Note: MxGPU is limited to 15 VFs per GPU due to a limitation in VMWare ESXi 6.0.

So my question is does anyone know if the limitation of 15 VF's per GPU is still present in ESXi 6.5

OR

Does the AMD S7150X2 present its self as 2 GPU's?
