After installing or upgrading to ESXi 5.5 Update 3, customers performing snapshot consolidation may experience virtual machines failing with the error “Unexpected Signal: 11″.

Any updates to this information will be made in the KB article itself.
Is this bug also present in the ESXi550-201509101 patch that fixes the newly released security vulnerability?
That patch has build number esx-base:5.5.0-2.65.3029837 and the U3 has build number 3029944.
Someone from vmware can officially confirm this. But AFAIK, the security VIB "esx-base:5.5.0-2.65.3029837, contains only security fixes and this issue is not caused by any security fix
I still haven't received a straight answer from VMware GSS about this, but I think build 3029837 (the security patch) does not have the snapshot consolidation bug.
Anyway, today VMware have released ESXi Update 3a, that has fixed the bug, so we can all upgrade to that build (as soon as we've let some other customers try it out first). More info in URL below
VMware KB: VMware ESXi 5.5, Patch ESXi550-201510401-BG: Updates esx-base
Now the question is, does the build above contain a fix for the VMSA-2015-0007 security flaw?
