6.5U2 embedded linked mode strangeness

Aloha,

I have 3 VC's (a, b and c)  joined to same sso domain. When I open the 3 VC's in separate browser tabs, I see different stories about what's linked.

In each tab I am logged in as administrator@vsphere.local.

Tab for VC a - VC b and c are listed as linked but I have no privileges to either.

Tab for VC b - Only VC a shows as linked and and I have privileges to a but I have no privileges to c.

Tab for VC c - VC's a and b show as linked and I have privileges to both.

Can someone please enlighten me on what may be causing the inconsistencies??

Mahalo,

          Bill

interesting scenario .... I would say as I never seen such. Are these migrated/upgraded from previous instances?

Are those in same sso site?

Can you check the service status on all the VCSA's and check if there is any service in warning or red state

thanks,

MS

This is my 1st shot at configuring SSO so not sure what to expect. All three VCs are in same SSO

domain. Also I built all three from scratch in a test system. I am doing this as practice as we will be

upgrading from 5.5U3 to 6.5U2.

Hi

Vcenter 6.0 and 6.5 does not support Link mode if we have Embedded PSC & vCenter.

We need to have external PSC's and vCenter to support enhance link mode.

This is the list of supported typologies for vCenter deployment for enhance link mode.

Thank You
