5.1U1 with vCenter 5.1?

I know it is always recommended to update vCenter before the hosts, but is there really any issue updating hosts from 5.1 to 5.1U1 when vcenter stays at 5.1? Only thing I can think of is not getting the newer HA modules from vCenter?

you can look up the VMware product interoperability here: VMware Product Interoperability Matrixes

It says only vCenter 5.1.0a can manage ESXi 5.1 U1 hosts. The initial vCenter 5.1 release cant.

Thankyou. I had looked at that matrix before and thought the GA release would work. I will look at it again.
