Moved your question from Community Website Help into VMware ESXi 5.
Do you see any error in taks and events pane in vSphere Client?
Could you kindly elaborate the situation? After how much time? Do they get gracefully shut down or powered off? How many VMs are there? Do they all go down simultaneously? Any specific events do you notice related to these things?
no errors, just show " virtual machine on 172.16.x.x is powered off" .And i have upgraded esxi5 to 623860 build number.it is so strange!
Is it a single VM which is having the problem?
no...all the vm happen like that. i logined as root. it seems that vm is powered off by user?
Is your host added to AD? If yes, please remove it from AD and then see if there are any other users added locally. Check whether now the problem occurs or not. This way we can check whether its by a user or because of something else. Also, try changing the root password as well if you have had it shared with someone. Although, I suspect this could be because of some policies, but these tests will prove it.
no adding to AD and no other users but me.
After how much time all these VMs are getting powered off?
Are there more entrys in the windows event log?
Frank
Are there any other events regarding ESXi host like loosing connecting to storage and NIC down alert?
1-2 hours
just using local storage. nic work fine!
