2 TB VMDK on vphare 5.0

I need to shrink 2 TB VMDK on vphare 5.0 ,is there a method to do this with out upgrading to vsphare later version.

Hello,

There are two options to do.

1. Edit the vmdk descriptor value to lesser than 2TB and clone the VMDK using the vmkfstools -i command

or

2. Use the VMware converter to Convert the vmdk to lesser size on the destination.
