100% cpu after revert to snapshot

Hi ,

I have one test vm, win2008 with oracle 11g installed. I have a snap shot of the vm. Everytime i go back to that snap shot, the oracle.exe process will

go to 100%. Its stays there for at least 2-3 hours, then the cpu got back to normal reading . There is no activity during the say period,so  I am not sure

why the cpu is 100%.

Any have any idea?

Is it possible that the database will be in an inconsistent state after reverting and Oracle is doing tests and rollbacks? Do you see a lot of disk activity?

After going back to the snapshot, can you reboot the VM so that you are running in a clean state? Snapshots aren't recommended for use with databases generally speaking.

From what i can tell, there was a spike in disk activity, but after that its almost back down from 0.

But CPU remains at 100%
