Hi Max,
Your question is weired. Let me explain why and please add an update.
You are here in the ESXi-on-Arm fling forum. So this is NOT for ESXi on x86_64 hardware. In Short: You can buy a NVidia Jetson, install ESXi on it and run arm64 Windows and Linux on it. Add some sensors and get an idea for AI/ML/inferencing.
On arm64 there is no commercial product version yet. The fling version ESXi-on-Arm 7.0 comes implicitly with a 180 day license.
Your wish for a free license - VMware supports free x86_64 ESXi hypervisor. From other threads, I've learned that there is a weblink issue but some links have been fixed. I didn't know that it is still possible to get an ESXI 6.x free hypervisor license. So, check the forum.
On not-supported hardware typically you spend hours on learning. For Intel i219-v support on x86_64 ESXi, check the forums https://vibsdepot.v-front.de/ and https://flings.vmware.com/community-networking-driver-for-esxi .
Hope this helps.
Kind regards,
Daniel
