Hello,
I wonder how the "update" on the web-gui works?
First I'll start to struggle with finding the right input data. Do you may have link that I can use to download the latest version/revision?
Is there also kind of a step by step manual that guides through the update process?
Thanks a lot in advance.
Currently the ESXi on ARM Fling doesn't support updating from an older version to latest.
Please re-install, on the official production repositories are as far as I know no ARM binaries available for updates, these currently only host intel architecture binaries.
Best
Markus
PS: ESXionARM Fling supports kickstart, this make re-installing easier if you have to do it several times for multiple RPis 😉
Ciao
When you wrote "web-gui", I suppose that you mean to ESXi standalone (not vCenter ecc..).
For ESXi you can check the new version at this link:
https://customerconnect.vmware.com/patch
and follow these instructions
if you mean of vSphere LifeCycle manager (The new Update Manager for vSphere 7.0) you can check this link:

@vMarkus Okay, I was wrong to assume that he had by mistake posted the request in the wrong channel. 🙂 Sorry 🙂
On the update side, be careful. When connected to VC, it is possible for VC to propose the update to a newer version. VC does not know about arm64 and will try to update to an x86 ESXi... that won't boot.
