rPi clustering - has anyone tried this yet?

Has anyone experimented yet with running ESXi on an rPi cluster? For example, the TuringPi , which uses 7 rPi compute boards, or (extreme example), like these guys did for Oracle?

Note, i'm referring specifically to a true cluster, where one Pi presents the compute power of the others, as opposed to what is usually termed a 'cluster' in the rPi world, which is just a compact stack of individual units, like this

If not, it sounds like i have my latest project!

Greetings,

Sad to say that TuringPi version 1 (as it is today) uses RPi3 compute modules. So ESXi ARM is not supported. I believe that TuringPi has plans for a new version/model that 2 will have RPi4 compute modules but other than the info on their web page, it is not real yet.
