Firmware always changes to EFI. 

Hi, I am new to this. Just created my 1st PI ESXi.

I set the Pi ESXi to boot from ISO to create a PI VM and the firmware to be BIOS.

The systems appears to start to load the OS as soon as the VM reboots, the firmware always changes from BIOS to EFI. Then the system never boots, it keeps trying to boot from the network and not the HD.

What am I doing wrong?

There are no BIOS firmware, but only EFI. To boot from ISO, make sure the virtual CDROM is Connected ***AND*** Connected at power-on. Yes, you need 2 different check boxes checked. Also make sure the ISO if for an arm64 or aarch64 system.
