vmware UEM Service

Hi All,

should VMware UEM Service (c:\program files\Immidio\Flex Profiles\FlexService.exe) be running in client during normal operation?

In my vdi environment (client win7/64) horizon 6, uem 9 and appvolumes 2.9 uem service is up and running only if i install or reinstall package and do not reboot client.

If i try to start service manually i got a 1503 timeout error.

I can't see logs anywhere.

Does anybody had this issue?

Thanks for attention

Nicola

Hi Nicola,

Can you tell me in what order you've installed the products ?

Because you are using App Volumes 2.9, It should be:

UEM before App Volumes

This problem has been fixed in App Volumes 2.10

Let me know if this worked for you

Yes Raimond,

Order matters!!

I've reinstalled agents in this order: uem, view and appvolumes.

Now uem service is running.

Thanks for advice.

Nicola
