capture usb printer setting and apply to golden image

Hi All,

we are trying to capture usb printer setting and apply to golden image.

Zebra GK420t specifically the forms.

Any help.?

Our environment, VMware Horizon 7.1, Windows 10 32 bit client LTSB (1607).

Any way to deploy printer settings via golden image/ app volume /UEM

Hi mnaitvpro,

Whether you can use UEM to deploy these settings depends on where the settings are stored. If they are stored in the user profile, then it's quite possible that you can manage this with UEM. If they're stored at the machine level, managing them in the golden image (or possibly through App Volumes) would be the way to go.

If you configure these settings by launching a Zebra-specific application, you could try using the UEM Application Profiler to help figure out where the settings are saved. If the configuration needs to be done through a Windows control panel or something like that, you'll have to use some registry comparison tool (like RegistryChangesView) to compare the before and after state.
