Where exactly do I need to copy the ADMX template files in a multi-DC environment?

Hi everyone,

Very quick question:

In the installation guides it says that the ADMX template files should be copied to the C:\Windows\Profile Definitions folder of a DC (if shared ADMX files are not in use).

My question is IF there are multiple DCs in the environment, do I need to copy the ADMX template files to the same location on all DCs or just any single DC is fine?

Hi Hocshop,

The ADMX templates should be copied to the PolicyDefinitions folder on your SYSVOL share, not the one in the Windows folder. SYSVOL is replicated across DCs.
