I have a Horizon 7 Environment with a Non Persistance Windows 7 Linked Clone and UEM doing all profile management and App Stacks managing applications, and Writables UIA only no profiles. I have been able to profile a bunch of windows settings and application settings with Application Profiler, but every time I login UEM pushes down all settings and saves all customizations and settings but if i open up an application it always ask for credentials as if its a new computer and doesn't seem to be capturing the applications creds to use them on next launch.
Does anyone know where credentials for applications would be stored so i can have UEM look for those on logout? For example, if i log out and login i have my Evernote requires me to sign in again, i just need to establish where the credential mechanism is and point UEM to look for that on log out so that it saves it on the user profile share for next login, any ideas?
This varies across different applications, so you will need to run each of them through the Application Profiler, or check in the community forum whether someone else maybe already created a Flex config file for that app.
In the case of Evernote, there seems to be one: Evernote.zip. Does that work for you?
Yeah i have been profiling my app and have been uploading the profile to UEM, but some of them lose their login credentials on next launch, all settings are saved but for some reason when i launch the app again on next login it asks for credentials again.
I have a profile for Evernote, but thats great i will try this one provided and let you know how it works out.
I disabled DirectFlex on the application and that pulled down the app profile on login and all my settings and logins were there and good to go! This did increase login time a bit, but a small price to pay for a consistent experience in a non-persistent environment.
Great suggestion, Thanks! techguy129
