UEM and Office macros

Hello all,

I am doing research into UEM for a customer of mine and needed some information about it that I wasn't too sure of.

I know UEM will let you create individual application profiles to present the application according to what each particular user or group of users needs.

My question is - other than specifying the layout of a Microsoft Office product can Office macros (Word, Excel) used by certain users be part of an Office profile in UEM or would the macros still have to imported in after the fact?

By default office macros will be disabled, you can use ADMX policy's for office in UEM and customize macros settings based on your requirements.

please let me know if need any help in moving forward

Hi RGagne1975,

It is my understanding that Office macros are (typically?) stored in template documents. You could definitely use UEM to provide those templates to your users as well, and use conditions to affect which users get what template(s).
