UEM and Black screen

We are testing UEM and users without local rights are getting black screen during login and disconnects.  With admin, I am able to login..  Any suggestion?

The users need read and write to the General/profile folder on the sever where you are storing the profiles

we used a security group that has read and write and that group was nested in the groups that use to Entitle access to a pool... so when you give them access to the pool they get read and write to the profile folder.

they just need read on the General/Config... just an FYI

On which OS is this happening?

Did you check the UEM log file of one of the users that are experiencing this issue?

There was a known issue with UEM 8.7 that could cause black screens in specific scenario's. See these release notes:

http://pubs.vmware.com/Release_Notes/en/uem/87/uem-870-release-notes.html

Could this be the case with you as well? Just upgrade to the latest UEM version 9.1 to solve this.

The correct permissions on the file shares are important, please check them.

The documentation contains the correct permissions needed:
