UEM & Outlook Addin: Mimecast

Hi guys,

A newbie on UEM here like 2 days old new. Smiley Happy

I have a question in regards to the Outlook add-in.

We are using a Mimecast add-in on our Outlook that requires the user to login to authenticate one-time to the mimecast server.

At the moment, every time the user logoff and then log in to their UEM desktop, for some reason the UEM did not hold on to the login information that we already put in the first time we used outlook.

What's the process to capture that information so we don't have to log in to the Mimecast add-in all the time after logoff?

We are using Outlook 2013 at the moment and soon we will go to 2016.

We are also using UEM 9.14 and Windows 7 Enterprise.

Any tips are much appreciated, fam!!

Thank you.

Nevermind, I think I got it.

I just created a new config file with the following:

[IncludeFolderTrees]

<AppData>\Mimecast

And set it to Process during logon and logoff.

That seems to get things rolling.

Welcome to the UEM forum, newbie 🙂 (Well, UEM newbie, as your VMTN account is 10+ years old...)

Good to see you already found your solution. Quite often you can indeed start out by capturing <AppData>(\Vendor)\Application and HKCU\SOFTWARE(\Vendor)\Application, and then start fine-tuning the result.
