UEM - Disable "Make Acrobat Reader default" dialog box in a VDI

Hi.

I have deployed Adobe Reader XI with an appstack. When i created the appstack i did some configuration in Adobe, and turned off option "notify me if Adobe PDF is not standard application".

But when users opens a PDF, it opens with Adobe Reader as expected, but they all get this dialog box:

How can i bypass or disable this option with UEM or GPO?

When a user check "dont show again" they get a message that this option is locked by system administrator...

Given that users get that message about the option being locked by the admin, UEM probably won't be able to help you here.

I'd suggest checking with ProcMon to see what exactly is going on here. Maybe it's something you can fix in the AppStack?
