UEM 9.1 is breaking SSO on the 7 agents

Horizon 7 with UEM 9.1 and AppVolumes 2.12,  Smart card only accounts.

We are seeing some weird issues with UEM when upgrading to any 7 horizon agent. We are currently running 6.2.2 agent and all products are working correctly. We have been using instant clones and want to take that path. That path requires the use of 7 agent. Hopefully someone has a fix for this.

     From the zero clients only:

1. a user gets the smart card prompt at the pre-session

2. authenticates

3. they click OK for the Banner

4. Normally they will see the Welcome screen while UEM runs.

    Instead They are immediately prompted for username and password.

     From thin or think clients, it works fine

I have open tickets with VMWARE and TERADICI

If you are trying to login to a zero client using a smartcard and this is happening the VMware rep sent me this for a fix.

Delete HKLM\SOFTWARE\VMware, Inc.\VMware UEM\Version = "9.1.0.175"

Create REG_DWORD HKLM\SOFTWARE\Immidio\Flex Profiles\HorizonLogic = "0"
