We have started to get a failure on mapping of the default printer with "Error 6" on the async log

Can someone point us in the direction of the error codes listing so I can see what code 6 relates to.
the error 6 isn't from DEM, its a windows one, the full error is "Windows cannot connect to the printer. Operation failed with error". I'd try and manually add the printer from the desktop and see if you can do it. Usually a printer server or driver issue from what I've seen.
Shadowed the user in question and they were able to add the printer as normal through printers & scanners - pulling down the printer as normal
Have fixed the issue for now by switching printer away from async in the DEM
The Async log for some users was being locked and hanging while the printer was set to async and never mapping the printer
log file was only released when user logged off
It now does not lock the logfiles and completes the printer mapping as normal
