Giant UserPref files

Hi,  I have 2 questions about DEM profiles.

1) What exactly are UserPref files. I can't link them back to any console setting or INI file.

2) Why is the UserPref folder of some users filled with giant UPF files.

My apologies. I've already found out, the files are generated by an unrelated system Ivanti Workspace Control.

They just happened to be stored in the same folder as our Flex Profiles.
