DEM taking 90+ seconds to login

Hi All,

I'm starting to get stumped on how I can improve login times for users. We are on horizon 8 2206, using dem, appvols, cb app control. Reviewing flexengine longs, windows defender and def eating up 20-40 seconds each. To add to that, our Adobe package alone takes 20 seconds to apply.

I added exclusions to defender based on VMware best practices for instant clones. I added some performance optimization rules to cb as well. Our Golden image is joined to the domain.

Any ideas on where to start or go from here?

Hi, I also have some challenges in connection with DEM and logging in.
With that said, we do now have a login in about 50 seconds, and still that is too long.
I see that Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Slack and teams Configs, takes 5-8 seconds each, and the ZIP files is between 40-300mb in size..

It is difficult to trim the browsers config files, because users want to have their history, saved passwords, bookmarks etc...

Do you have a configfile for Defender?

Our Golden image is NOT a member of the domain. I'm always working on my Goldens with a local administrator. Well, if i have to do something with my goldens. Now we are running MDT to create and deploy our instant clones, with a PS script. And in the MDT - Task Sequence we onboard our instant clones - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/security/defender-endpoint/configure-endpoints-scrip...

What is your DEM for Adobe?

What do you even have for defender?

Here is our Adobe config. We don't have a Defender config defined so that's not relevant to us.

If you take the config and extract it, what's the largest files in there?
