We migrated from one DEM server(\\serverA) to another DEM server (\\serverB).
Profile copy was handled by a powershell script, worked, everybody's stuff moved over.
We're about to shutdown serverA when we noticed things like recent items, quick access items and Office recent files list were pointing to \\serverA\Path\file
Shutting down serverA without correcting these paths will be bad the next day as people will click these dead links because \\serverA\Path\file won't be there.
Looking for a solution, is this just a script I have to figure out that finds path \\serverA\Path\file and change to \\serverB\Path\file
Hi pbastiaans,
It sounds like "serverA" was not just used to store DEM profile archives, as these "stale" references seem to be in Windows settings?
These settings are part of the Configs within DEM. The registry setting is roamed at log off and again at logon.

Sure, but recent items and quick access items are Windows settings, and the Office recent files list is an Office setting. DEM can roam those settings, but will do so as is; i.e. it can't "rewrite" them if the locations they point to are changed.
