DEM 2111 Download Config Template Results In Error (Forbidden)

** See attachment for exact error ** 

Have tried multiple customer, partner, and even just dummy accounts, the result is the same. We cannot download templates! Any ideas here?

Did you have a SSL-Inspection or other security Software/Hardware in your infrastructure? Does it work when you connect over a mobile hotspot over cell phone?

I have tried this in my lab as well so two totally separate environments, ISPs, etc and I get the same error with multiple accounts.

i can confirm that it not working anymore for me. it has worked a few weeks ago 🙂

Thanks for the confirmation! I figured it wasn't just me 🙂

Would be nice to see an official response from VMware! I used those templates a lot.

This is a known issue, you need to download template.bin file and put it in the DEM environment folder on the same level as General folder.

Please follow this: https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/87966
You'll find the template.bin file inside the config-template-content at the bottom right of the page, or as a attachment here.
