DEM 2106 to 2209 Upgrade

In the process of updating all of the components in our Horizon environment.

I know that App Volumes Manager Administrator Console 2209 can manage 2.18.10 App Stacks and agents.

Can DEM Management Console 2209 manage 2106 agents?

Hi @dzak64,

The version of the DEM Management Console should not be higher than the version of the DEM agent, so using the 2209 Management Console with 2106 agents is not supported.

Newer versions of the Management Console (generally) add product functionality that's not available in older versions of the agent, so those agents won't be able to correctly process "newer" config files.

This is very true, in using a version of 2206 I hit a problem where configuring conditions for a policy that would be picked up by systems running 9.11 wouldnt play nice as new condition rules exist in the new versions that don't in 9.11.
