Conditions for Printer Mappings

Trying to take care of a printer nightmare we have in 3 of our remote office using UEM.  Been trying to user the conditions under the printer mapping and needed some clarification on them.  Trying to use IP addressing to help solve this and no matter what IP address i have they still come back as FALSE in the log.

What is considered the Endpoint IP address?

What is considered IP address?

I've tried what i thought they were but it still won't map.  Here is a snip from my log and here are the IP's i used.  The computer with the View client  has an ip of 172.20.1.116.  The VM that i am connecting to has an ip address of 10.0.15.22.  Here is what conditions are set.  I still have no printer mapping for this printer.

Can anyone shed some light on this for me??  Thanks in advance.

Thank you, Perry

Hi Super6VCA,

IP Address is the IP of the system the UEM agent is installed on. Endpoint IP Address is the IP address of the system you're using some kind of remote access client on to connect to the system that UEM is running on.

So, in your example, IP address would be 10.0.15.22, and endpoint IP address would be 172.20.1.116. This particular endpoint IP address would match the conditions shown in the screenshot you included.

Can you post a FlexEngine log file (at log level DEBUG) so we can see what exactly is going on?

The Endpoint IP address is set correctly but still not getting the mapping.  Curious whey the logs are saying FALSE to that address.

Hi Super6VCA,

Are you sure the address ranges you use in those failing conditions are correct for the address "type" (i.e. IP of the VM vs IP of the client system)? I'm asking because almost everything in the log is either "10.* does not match 172.*" or "172.* does not match 10.*"...
