Chrome and Mozilla Bookmarks Only

Hello Everyone,

I see a lot of posts for Capturing Chrome data with UEM but none of them seem to be working for us. Basically what I'm trying to do is to capture Chrome bookmarks only. Here is my config:

[IncludeRegistryTrees]

HKCU\Software\Google\Chrome

[IncludeFolderTrees]

<LocalAppData>\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Bookmarks

<LocalAppData>\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Bookmarks.bak

It has direct flex enabled as well.

Now the catch is that we are also using User Writable Profile only. So technically everything in AppData is being captured by that volume. However, the thing is that if I need to delete user writable then all bookmarks are gone. I was hoping that by using UEM I could freely delete users' writable and once they log in again and new writable is created UEM will import those bookmarks back and possibly settings like Bookmark bar etx.

This also applies to Firefox which I didn't get a chance to play with

Hi,

I use the same settings as you in DEM with the exception of direct flex and for me it works perfectly.

Due to the numerous problems I encountered with writeable volumes, I gave up on them completely and replaced it with FSLogix. Since I am using FSlogix I do not have any issues anymore.
